One of the most successful developments a person can become is being their own.
We achieve this because of free choice. The thinking of a person responsible for their thoughts and actions, what they choose to learn and become.
Consider than the failure of bondage. The thinking of a person repeating an undesirable thought or action, from their failure to learn. In thinking of myself, I knew I had a problem.
Seeing the first psychiatrist was being socially responsible. He told me, assured me, he was going to help. He was never able to do that. In my hurt and trying to forget her, the memories, the emotional pain, the effect was of my effort to become subconscious. A dark depression of my thinking would periodically become its own.
My failure to learn had created a subconscious bondage. This required professional help to correct. A matter of two sessions with the second psychiatrist. Learning then became a situation of thinking.
Thinking creates learning that creates freedom. Like in learning of the self, a process that begins with thinking.
This idea of thinking, or learning to think, or whatever idea we think we have used in the learning of ourselves, began with the Israelites at Mt. Sinai. When God gave to Moses law, The Ten Commandments, for the Israelites to use in creating a transition from bondage to freedom. That is, to think.
Thinking began then as an involvement of faith. A believing, there is someone greater than ourselves. That an interest of this Supreme Being or Creator is for us to be free. The thinking and learning of each person in becoming and being their own.
For myself, choosing to live within the parameters of law that are good and true, of law limiting behavior without limiting freedom and the development of freedom, began a thinking and learning of self.
A choosing to learn of the self, while simultaneously thinking and learning of law, created an effective development. The learning of self, who I am, while learning the responsibility of self, what I am.
My writing the above is a perspective of individual thinking and responsibility. A learning involved in the freedom of becoming one's own. I chose to write about this because of those that choose not to believe, nor live within the limits of law. They commit acts of murder, adultery, stealing, lying, and coveting. A failure of thinking where people give up their responsibility of self to commit an act that takes from them their freedom of self.
Think of then, of being one's own. Where a person having learned their thoughts and ideas of self, in becoming their sense of I or me, they are ready to learn and become more. A sharing of themselves in loving another.
This begins another development of thinking, a development of us.
